Tillson Oatmeal Crisp Cookies

Ingredients
- 3 cups Tillson’s Oats (Now Quaker Oats)--if you'd like a current local version, try Oak Manor Farms!
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 cup of flour
- ¼-cup boiling water
- ½-teaspoon salt
- 1-teaspoon soda
- Optional: ½ of raisins, nuts or chocolate chips
Ingredients
- Mix the Tillson Oats with sugar, salt and flour
Hint: Tillson Oats are now Quaker Oats! If you'd like to use a hyper-local oat, try Oak Manor Farms! - Add melted butter and mix together
- Dissolve baking soda in boiling water
- Add dissolved baking soda and water into mixture
- Add additional ingredients in desired
- Form the dough into a long roll and chill overnight
- Slice into thin disc
- Bake at 3500 for 5 to 10 minutes
- Enjoy your cookies!
