Oxford County is conveniently located in Southwestern Ontario where two major highways (401 and 403) meet. It’s just 90-minute drive from downtown Toronto and two hours from border crossings at Buffalo, Detroit and Sarnia. Our largest communities include the City of Woodstock and the towns of Tillsonburg, Ingersoll, Norwich and Tavistock. Once you get off of the highway, follow our country roads to new adventures in Oxford County and its 8 municipalities.
Oxford County is also a central location for exploring Southern Ontario: under 60 KM from Lake Erie Beaches and 150 km to wine country, Niagara Falls and downtown Toronto (accessible by car or train).

In Oxford County, your next stop is never far away, with towns and rural stops nestled along country roads. See how close the next town is using the drive time map below. For example from Tillsonburg to Ingersoll is just 23 minutes but there are several attractions along the drive. You can easily explore several communities and rural areas in one day, or take in everything in three to four days.
Electric Vehicle Charging
EV Chargers are available at several businesses but also FLO and Tesla charging in some parking lots. As new chargers are frequently being added we suggest visiting plugshare.com to search for EV chargers along your route. Also when searching for businesses, if they offer EV charging they should have it listed in their general amenities.
Cycling
