Stop 1: Whisk and Roll Bakery
Offer: Cheddar Dill Biscuits
Start your day by stepping back in time at this scratch bakery. Grab a coffee to fuel the day's adventure and choose from a full counter of baked goods and fresh breads. Try their cheddar dill biscuit made with cheese from fellow Cheese Trail stop, Bright Cheese and Butter. Deli sandwiches and homemade soups also available. Nibble now or grab something for later.
Stop 2: Your Farm Market
Offer: Oxford Cheeses & Charcuterie
Your one-stop shop for fruit, veggies, deli and so much more; all sourced from nearby farms and food producers. Visit
the deli counter to sample local cheeses that are available in the coolers.
Plus pick up crackers, condiments and charcuterie supplies to picnic or to feast on at home.
Stop 3: Cheesy Cow Company
Offer: Oxford Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Park and stop in at this cheese boutique in downtown Woodstock. Shop Ontario and international artisan cheese and delicious accompaniments curated by passionate cheesemongers, Sarah and Wes. Snack on a grilled cheese sandwich made with Gunn’s Hill Five Brothers and Golspie Dairy Double Gloucester cheese, served with your choice of ketchup (dill or bacon flavoured).
Sip and Savour
Stop 4: Brickhouse Brewpub
Offer: Braised Beef Poutine with Gunn’s Hill Cheese Curds and Beer Braised Onions
Find 25 taps of craft beer featuring 13 from Upper Thames Brewing Co. Dine in or find a spot on the patio if the sun is shining. Enjoy a hearty Braised Beef Poutine or other delicious eats from their menu featuring local ingredients.
Grab a brew or two to take home at the bottle shop.
Cheese and Country Roads
Stop 5: Golspie Dairy
Offer: Whole Milk, Crowdie & British Style Cheeses
Take a mid-day drive out to Golspie Dairy, located on a 5th generation dairy farm. The dairy offers whole milk and British style cheeses
including Crowdie, a fresh cow’s cheese. Visit the retail shop or use the milk and cheese vending machines (bring your own bottle or empty bottles available).
Take a Hike
Make stop at the Burgess Park (Millenium Trail System) for a short hike along the banks of Thames River.
