Seasons

We could never pick a favourite season to enjoy Oxford County! Spring offers fresh bouquets of flowers and the year's first fresh crops of rhuarb, asparagus and even greenhouse strawberries. Heading into summer, new experiences launch, cut-your-own flowers and picnics in blueberry patches await. Whether you're harvesting your own food or enjoying a small town festival, it's an amazing time to visit. Fall brings cooler nights and warm days. Our back roads burst with a variety of amazing colours, farmers start introducing root veggies and other delicious eats and restaurants are inspired by those changes in ingredients. Finally, winter falls on Oxford in beautiful ways: fresh blankets of snow on farm fields and heritage buildings. New treats pop up at bakeries and restaurants. We sip on hot drinks while still enjoying beautiful trails and outdoor fun. So no matter what time of year you visit, there's always something new to enjoy.
