Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association (CHAA)
Want to fly in a World War II aircraft? Visit the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association, a volunteer-based charitable organization that works tirelessly to keep history alive and honour those who served by acquiring, preserving, restoring, maintaining and displaying the Harvard and other aircraft.
The Harvard is proudly associated with the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan and the Royal Canadian Air Force. Dubbed “the pilot maker”, it played a pivotal role during the Second World War for training tens of thousands of young men from Canada and the Allied Forces to earn their wings and become pilots.
Today, the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association provides remarkable flight experiences, family fun events and volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the Harvard Association is helping them celebrate! On Saturday, June 1, the Harvard Association will hold an enhanced Open House, Fly Day and Fly-In to pay tribute to the role the Harvard aircraft played in shaping the incredible history of the RCAF. All are welcome to join in the fun at this outdoor, family-friendly event.
Open: Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9am to 3pm.
Visitors, new members, volunteers and donations are always welcome.
