Bean Salad
Ingredients
- ½ cup of Jakeman’s Maple Syrup (Canada #1 Medium)
- ½ cup of Vegetable Oil
- ½ cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 cups of Yellow and Green Beans (can-drained or frozen)
- 1 can of Red Kidney Beans (drained)
- ½ cup of sliced red or white onion
Steps
- Combine maple syrup, oil, vinegar and salt in a 2 cup measure.
- Microwave at high for approximately 2 minutes, or until hot.
- Combine the beans and onion in a large bowl.
- Pour the dressing over the beans, toss to coat the beans thoroughly.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving in order to blend flavours
