What is the Oxford County Cheese Trail?

The Oxford County Cheese Trail is a self-guided tour of 24 stops featuring cheese, dairy and related offerings for visitors to experience.  Visit cheese makers, restaurants, local food producers, museums, artisans and boutiques for a pleasant afternoon, day or weekend in Oxford.  With the largest city on the trail located where the 401 meets the 403, Oxford is the ideal location to visit as it’s just a 90-minute drive from Toronto and only two hours from border crossings at Buffalo, Detroit and Port Huron.

Need help? Let us plan your itinerary! Just email tourism@oxfordcounty.ca and we’d be happy to lend you a hand. Right now, the Cheese Trail looks a little different but it's still full of excitement. While samples may be limited and cheese factory tours aren't currently available, you can take part in unique experiences, come home with coolers full of cheese and visit some really gouda restaurants.

So if it’s unbrielievable, legendairy memories you seek to create, look no further than the Oxford County Cheese Trail! Download the guide!

Grate News! Big Cheese Days are back and feta than ever.

On Saturdays in May, our Cheese Trail partners are rolling out even more cheesy awesomeness. Get the full scoop on our Big Cheese Days page.
