Local Remembrance Day ceremonies

Woodstock: On Thursday, November 11, the City of Woodstock is hosting a traditional Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Victoria Park Cenotaph, with Public Health COVID-19 safety protocols in place. The ceremonies will begin with the pre-laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph at 10:15 a.m., and the parade marching to the Cenotaph at 10:45 a.m. Rogers TV will broadcast the ceremony live at 10:45 a.m. Visit the City of Woodstock website, and follow the City's social media for additional details.

Tillsonburg: The Town of Tillsonburg's Remembrance Day ceremonies will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, with the Silent Walk departing from Veteran's Walkway at Rolph Street. The traditional Cenotaph service will begin at 10:45 a.m. and will be live streamed on the Town's Facebook page. Attendees are asked to wear a mask, and maintain physical distance. More information.

Ingersoll: Ingersoll Legion Branch 119 is hosting a Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Ingersoll Town Hall in front of the Cenotaph on Thursday, November 11, at 10:45 a.m. All attendees are asked to follow COVID-19 Public Health measures, including wearing a mask if physical distancing is not possible. Norwich:  Norwich Remembrance Service is taking place November 11, at 10:30 am and the parade to the Norwich cenotaph at 11:00am.  Location: Jerdon St., Norwich ON  Check Facebook for more information.

Beachville: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 495 in Beachville is holding a Remembrance Banquet on Saturday, November 6. Information on the banquet programme and how to buy tickets can be found on the the Legion's Facebook page.

Tavistock: Tavistock Legion Branch 518's Remembrance Day Service will take place at Grace United Church at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 7, with a Remembrance Day Ceremony following at 1:00 p.m. outside the Legion (223 Hope St. West).
