Pride Ponies & Pottery
The Kiln Room Ceramic & Art Studio, Transitions Equine Assisted Learning and Oxford County Pride are excited to bring you a unique experience that combines pottery-making with the healing presence of therapeutic horses!
June 7th, 6 PM – 9 PM

This is a safe space and a 2SLGBTQAI+ inclusive event.
During this three-hour experience, you’ll be guided through three different ceramic hand-building exercises. Two techniques will be taught inside the beautiful TEAL Clubhouse, and for the third, you’ll create a pinch-pot outdoors — immersed in the intuitive energy of the resident horses.
You can choose to either walk with the horses inside their pen or observe from a distance — whatever feels right for you. If you opt for a closer experience, Transitions facilitators will introduce you to the horses and guide you through a safety demo.
Pinch-pot making is a meditative hand-building practice, perfect for soothing your spirit and sparking your creativity.
By the end of the evening, you’ll have:
Learned two pottery techniques
Created 2–3 beautiful ceramic pieces
Connected energetically with some majestic horses
And maybe learn something new about yourself
Space is limited to 16 participants — so grab your friends or come solo and meet a bunch of new, crafty people!
Minimum age: 7 years old
(Youth aged 14 and under must attend with an adult.)
Cost: $110 + HST per person
(includes all clay, glaze, firings, instruction — and, of course, horses!)
Oxford Country Pride will be onsite with Pride goodies and giveaways!
