Embro Highland Games
The oldest Scottish games in Ontario, this gathering is a celebration of Embro's Scottish roots. Replete with Scottish heritage and tradition, you will find competitive Highland dancing, massed pipe bands, piping competitions, Tug of War & heavy events to entertain & thrill you. A clan friendly spectacle where you will see Scottish livestock, agility dogs and the ever-popular Scottish dogs on parade, with the option to take a break from the day’s events and enjoy some traditional Scottish fare at our tearoom. There is an area for the children with organized Scottish-themed crafts and activities.
For the adults, we offer original vendors, and fabulous food trucks all set in fully licensed grounds. From the outdoor bar you can try amazing local craft beers & distilled drinks while you kick back and enjoy live music by the Celtic rock group the Mudmen & the ever popular local duo The Paddystones.
