Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association OPEN HOUSE FLY DAY!
The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association, based in Tillsonburg, Ontario hosts a few free Open House FLY DAYS each summer. All are welcome to come out, learn about our mission, our aircraft, while taking a tour of our hangars, purchase a flight in one of our WWII Harvards for that day or a future day, and have some fun.
On June 24 and 25, we are hosting a special FLY DAY, that will include a FLY-IN, in honour of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP). We invite pilots of wartime trainer aircraft to fly in and join a number of others that will gather.
We've invited a CT-156 Harvard II trainer from 15 Wing in Moose Jaw, SK. Hopefully they will be able to join us!
We will also be celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the Tillsonburg Regional Airport!
Features and activities will include:
• Flights in our WWII Harvard aircraft (for a fee)
• Author and Historian Ted Barris
• Photographers’ Area (for a fee)
• BCATP & other historical displays
• Harvard Association Aircraft Dive Recovery Team display
• Harvard Association merchandise for sale
