Thanks for visiting! Please note that hours, activities, services and openings/closures are changing often. Before heading out, it’s always best to check with individual sites to ensure they can accommodate you.

Ten years ago, the Makkink family immigrated to Canada, hoping to fulfill a lifelong dream to live on a hobby farm inspired by a visit to friends in the Oxford area. They found everything they wished for with the purchase of a 3.5 acre farm. Deciding what to grow on it was easy. Hilde has always loved flowers. Now her petal-powered busines is in full bloom, selling 45 varieties. At the farm you can cut and create your own bouquets or take a workshop on-site to learn new ways to use blossoms.

New!  Visit our Online Store offering beautiful fresh flowers with or without a vase for delivery or pick-up.  Click here for more information.

For hours of operation, please check Makkink's Flower Farm's Facebook page.

Products: Fresh cut field flowers and patio succulents. Also offer workshops related to flowers, succulents and Christmas arrangements.

Cut Your Own: Opens end of July  until the end of September.  Walk-ins are welcome. However, if you plan to come as a group (4 or more), or if you want to cut more than 4 bouquets per person, please call ahead.

Please check out Makkink's website and Facebook for more details about their workshops, DIY weddings and more.
