First settled in the early 1800's the resourceful pioneers founded one of the most successful Quaker communities in Upper Canada. You can learn more about Quaker life at the Norwich & District Museum.  Afterwards park downtown and visit some unique shops and enjoy Dutch flavours at the local restaurants and bakeries. Heading south out of town towards Otterville you can visit more retailers and food producers.  Be sure to come for the annual Nostalgia Days celebration which includes sidewalk sales downtown and activities at the museum.  The village has all of your basic amenities from banking, pharmacy, grocery, shops, dining, attractions and accommodations.
