Snow Countess 
Woodstock's, ON famous Holstein Freisian cow, "Snow Countess", was born on November 18, 1919 and had a record-setting milk production. This life-size statue was designed by local artist Ross Butler and built on August 4, 1937. During her lifetime, she produced 9,062 pounds of butterfat, impressive at that time. It was erected by the Holstein Freisian Association of Canada on the Springbank Farm of T.R. Dent, owner of Snow Countess. The statue cost $4,000 at that time. The Snow Countess can be seen on Dundas Street, East, in front of the Zehr's grocery store.
