Social media technologies continue to gain attention for its potential as a marketing and educational tool. With the emergence of new tools on a daily basis, this workshop will address the digital sphere by breaking down these tools in an interactive hands-on workshop. Participants will be lead through a series of demonstrations on active technologies.
What Participants will learn
- Hands on using the following tools and their effectiveness using previous examples: (Tumblr, Facebook, Foursquare, Cellar Tracker, QR Codes, Quora, Twitter, Wordpress, Joomla)
- Current tools available for content management and marketing
- Costs involved with ditigital solutions (websites and marketing tools)

Weekends in March, Wednesday March 14th, and Sunday April 1st. From 9am to 1:30 pm at Jakeman's Maple Farm 454414 Trillium Line, Sweaburg, Ontario. Bring out your family and join the young people of Oxford County 4-H as they host the 7th Annual 4-H Pancake House at Jakeman's. The Pancake House is open from 9 am to 1:30pm weekends in March as well as Wednesday March 14th and Sunday April 1st. The Pancake House meals starting at $3.00 and features HUGE, fluffy pancakes, breakfast sausage, beverages, maple baked beans and Jakeman's Award Winning maple Syrup served in hand crafted pottery jugs. The Jakeman family are celebrating their 136th syrup season in 2012. The Maple Gift Shop will be open during the Pancake House. The Jakeman's syrup has twice been selected #1 in a blind taste tests held by the National Post. While at the Pancake House you can see the many antiques collected by the Jakeman family over the years, as well as taking a horse drawn wagon ride and a short walk through the Trillium nature Preserve (weather permitting). Proceeds from the Pancake House support 4-H Projects in Oxford County. The Oxford County 4-H program is part of a larger Ontario organization that will soon be celebrating it's Centennial.
