Inspired By… Mother and Daughter features 11 artworks by Rita Giedre Bulova-Forrest, including geometric paintings from her earlier years (1987 to 1991) and works in fibre created at the end of her life (2003 to 2010). Bulova-Forrest’s work is presented alongside 12 mixed media artworks by her daughter Irma Makariunaite. The exhibition is Makariunaite’s tribute to her mother, whose art was a major inspiration to her own practice.
