Search for your historical Oxford County roots.We can offer help in searching for your genealogical past by showing you where & how to look for information or leads on where to look next.There are volunteers here who have experience & passion for history & what it can mean when you find connections to your past.
Here are 6 of the services we provide :1. Collect and preserve information for anyone researching an ancestor from Oxford County.2. Volunteers operate our resource center to help with searches. Mon to Fri, 10 am to 4 pm at our present location of 12 Vine St. Beachville.3.Assist with family genealogical research from quieries from all over the world. Our email address is ocbogs@ oxford.net.4.We produce publications, and have over 150 publications relating to genealogy in Oxford County.5.Our volunteers are continuing the job of Cemetery Transcriptions of all cemeteries in Oxford County.6.We have once a month meetings with guest speakers, specializing in topics of genealogical interest.The public is always welcome.
