A Premier Ontario family oriented Music Festival held annually at Dorchester Fairgrounds, Dorchester, ON. The 2010 event will be held July 1 - 4 with camping on site, weekend or daily admissions. It features a full four days of the top US and CDN Bluegrass Bands & Showcase groups: J.D. Crowe & The New South (Lexington, KY), The Claire Lynch Band(Hermitage, TN), Darrel Beachley & the Legends of the Potomac (Maryland, USA), The Charlie Sizemore Band (Nashville, TN), Robert Hale & Wildfire (Richmond, KY), Don Rigsby & Midnight Call(Isonville, KY), The Canucky Bluegrass Boys(Sudbury, ON), Concession 23(Wakefield, Quebec), The Spinney Brothers (Wolfville, NS), Traditionally Wound(Owen Sound, ON),Workshops, and special entertainers performing on two Stages. The members of The Woodstock Choralaires are very proud of their involvement and service to the community and the volunteer and charitable organizations within it. The choir will provide entertainment for any fundraising-group or celebration upon request. In the past they have sung at the Cancer events, Volunteer celebrations, Alzheimer events and many others. This year they were part of the Woodstock Library's Anniversary festivities. The choir also provides bursaries for the Annual Music Festival, and donate their time wherever they feel they can help. The organization offers a Young Artist Scholarship and a Composer-in-Residence Program, with world premiere performances of works by Jeff Smallman.
