Nationally designated for its magnificent interior, Annandale House serves as a monument to the style of design known as the “Aesthetic Art Movement”. From the extravagant hand-painted ceilings and elaborate inlaid floors to ornate fireplace mantles and stained glass, Annandale truly combines the best of what the Aesthetes professed. Built in the 1880’s by E.D Tillson, the home is a visual experience you won’t soon forget. Decorated for the holidays season, the home is particularly beautiful around Christmas time. This accessible facility is also home to the Tillsonburg Museum. Programs, guided tours and picnic areas available.
